On February, 8 2017, in Luhansk Regional State Administration a meeting with representatives of the SMM OSCE was held. From Luhansk region on this meetin were Deputy Head of Luhansk Regional State Administration Yurii Klymenko and Director of Department of foreign affairs, foreign economic and investment activity Denys Denyschenko.

The delegation consisted of Maria Paola Pannacciulli – Managing Officer, Abdyraim Zhorokulov – Managing Officer and Tetyana Philypovich – administrator–translator.

During the meeting participants discussed problems of restoration of power lines along the contact line and blocked lines of railway transport. In addition, they noted that now there is an acute problem in the opening of a „Zolote“ automobile checkpoint in the Luhansk region, to decrease heavy workload to Stanitsa Luganskaya checkpoint.

Yurii Klymenko underlined, that recovery of infrastructure and opening of new checkpoints are priority directions for region’s leaders and asked representatives of the OSCE in the framework of its competence to contribute a positive decision on this occasion. 

Representatives of the OSCE SMM certified of full support, thanked for their cooperation in resolving of complicated issue sand expressed hope for furtherfruitful cooperation.
